My computer....

It... umm....

It kinda crashed on itself.
Don't know how, don't know why...
But a friend of mine came over to have a look and to restore some functions...

Before the crash, I only used up 8 Gigs out of the 20 available (old computer is old), yet when the hard drive crashed, it forced 18 of the 20 Gigs to become locked and unreadable.
In fact, the computer doesn't really consider that portion anything anymore.

I have not much to fret though, things can be mended. Recently I put all my pictures (and hopefully stories) on my Flash drive. That's safe.

Everything else...

Not so lucky.
Don't know if another computer tech can access the blocked memory, but this is for sure, we needs a new hard drive.

Perhaps a processor upgrade wouldn't be too bad either.

All I needs to say now is to give the double thumbs-up salute to failure.
